Win it Forward...first 5 comments wins!

Win it Forward...first 5 comments wins! I am unlucky when it comes the winning contests...How lucky are you?I double dare you to accept this challenge. This game involves a few of my favorite things: handmade goods, creativity, and gift-giving. Here are the tagging instructions: The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article or properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch?Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

I am excited to do this, my friend had this on her blog and I am all over it!! I can't wait to see what wild things the pulls out of her bag:)

Keeping the Spark lit

A little late, but I am still going to post it. I just had to put a picture of the "early days" where either of us are barely recognizeable, yes that is me and yes that is Dan, just a little younger and lighter for the both of us.
I just wanted to reflect on my marriage for a minute as I am thinking of others who are having trials. Marriage has not been at all what I imagined. However, it has been more than what I imagined in other ways. I don't know how marriage could ever be what you create in your mind, when you are so young and don't understand what is going to go into it.

I have a full heart, I feel like I am bearing my testimony, I guess I kind of am... I am so thankful now more than ever for an eternal marriage. I am just now beginning to understand the promises and covenants with my Heavenly Father pertaining to my family. I couldn't imagine life being over with my loved ones, after being here on this earth. I can't imagine how much sadness it would entail if I couldn't be with Dan again and see Hailey smile and laugh, or have more cuddles with Kyle. What a joy they are in my life- ALL OF THEM!

Sure, marriage can be hard, and sometimes you just feel like..."is this it?" and you wonder if the spark that was once there was ever strong enough to last. I just want to say that you can re-ignite the spark, or get a new one all together. This past year in our marriage has been just that. I have been so thankful to have a husband who is willing to communicate with me and that we are able to understand one anothers needs. I feel a new spark that is lit, there are things that I love my husband for now that he did not have when we were first married. I love the way that we have grown together. Sometimes our spark has fizzled a little and I just have to keep working on getting a flame started to light the dang thing, and get it going again. I am so thankful for all of the information and councel given by our church leaders on marriage and family. My testimony is strong of the family and the eternal promises that we have through our temples. I just want the world to know that I love my family!!!!
