Puppy Post Pardum?

Seriously? Come on... Really?

Feelin a little blue, stressed about the messes from the dog, waking up in the night, not much sleep, worried about the puppy getting hurt because she is so tiny, and watching her like a hawk whenever she is on the carpet to make sure she gets put near her piddle pad when she starts sniffing.

Having headaches again, body aches, and my heart is palpitating again constantly, shortness of breath, and feeling like I'm on the verge of tears whenever I speak, and for what?

A DOG!
And what a sweet little thing she is. She has me suckered in along with the rest of the family.
I really hope that these symtoms aren't related to having a new puppy, but if they are...BRING IT ON! I know my mind and body are psycho, so why not? Puppy Pardum, is there counceling for this...any drugs?
For now, I will stick to what I got and ride through the blues and hope that it passes.

In the meantime, I will just keep on snuggling my little "Ewok":)

Doesn't she look like one?

Remember this movie?

Our Newest Addition

We finally got what our kids have been begging for since birth... A PUPPY!
Yea, to the dog smell that will likely take over our house over time, and yea to the forever piddle and dog messes to come. I am looking forward to the chew marks on shoes and the furniture.
Our little Nellie couldn't be cuter! She has been the best little puppy, we didn't expect her to fit so well. She adapted so quick to her new family. She loved each of us from the second we brought her home. I was worried that she would be afraid of our kids, quite the opposite, Kyle runs while the little furball chases his feet to chew on them. She love's to play. She is always trying to chew on your toes, fingers and even ears, in my case my hair.
We are in love with our newest family member Nellie Bohrer.

Nellie Bohrer
2 Months old
Imperial Shih Tzu
Light as a feather-
Kyle follows Nellie everywhere and always is convinced that he needs to pick her up, even when she is clearly doing something.
Hailey enjoys carrying Nellie everywhere, loves to cuddle and play with Nellie. Hailey has become the bossy big sis and pretty much tries to be Nellie's mother. Hailey will tell on Kyle for trying to do the very thing she is already doing with the puppy.

Nellie goes straight for Dan's ears if he is laying down. She loves to crawl all over his head and chew on his ears. I am sure that those wet willies are the best!

This is Nellie the first night that we brought her home, she was such a cuddler. She snuggled and gave kisses constantly.

Sometimes, Nellie just tickles! The first night, Nellie wiggled a little more than Kyle was expecting and she squirmed right out of Kyle's arms a few times, luckily, he was always sitting on the floor.

Hailey could have died and gone to heaven and not known the difference. She thinks she is in Heaven with this puppy. Hailey is constantly saying Thank you for getting us a puppy, and I always knew we would get a puppy someday...

We LOVE you NELLIE!

Finally, an update

Been a long time, so there are going to be a clump of posts, that should have been on for a while.
